So you are telling me people are actually going to take out their phone WHILE on their website and scan the bar code scanner to take them back to THEIR site?

Lets not be silly, bar code scanners only work for PRINTED items NOT digital. I mean seriously they could just put a link to whatever it is if it was that important plus it is a link back to the same website. Ha!
