I made a thread a few moths ago that I was debating someone....they gave up fast, but i never posted my email to them. There was more then 1, but I could only find the last one I sent.
Basically, they were commenting that the TSA were "all" just a bunch of perverts because 1 person was accused of inappropriately touching a young girl. I commented that basically.....they were an idiot. And that it was unfair to blame all of the TSA for actions of 1 person. They sent me an email (that Im still trying to find)....but I found my reply
So because 1 person, did something that is "wrong", all TSA are perverts? You generalized a group on the actions of 1 person. That is called "slander". Let me try your way of thinking..
Jimmy Swaggart. All pastors use prostitutes.
Jim Bakker . All pastors embezzle money and cheat on their wives.
Kent Hovind. All pastors are tax evaders.
Pat Robertson. All pastors "predict" the end of the world, twice, and are wrong.
Do you understand my point yet? You can't claim a group of people are "perverts" because you have 1 story or youtube video to "prove" it. Yes, you are more then welcomed to talk about your disgust on that specific situation, and I would actually back you on that.... but you went 10 steps past that and made insinuations on a group with no standing facts.
Just in case you still don't get it:
Slander - is the communication of a statement that makes a claim, expressly stated or implied to be factual, that may give an individual, business, product, group, government, or nation a negative image. It is usually a requirement that this claim be false and that the publication is communicated to someone other than the person defamed (the claimant).
You posted falsehoods against a group via a public website. That is called slander. If you can't understand that, I don't know what to tell you.
If you want to continue to debate this, by all means, reply.... debating is what I do best. I look forward to your next topic change to try and explain something completely unrelated to "prove" your statements.
