So, the demo came out today but you have to have pre-ordered the game to try out the demo, it can be acquired other ways though. After 12 years of trying to make this game and failing it seems like they have finally done it, Duke still has his famous one liners and the game play is pretty fun! People who pre-ordered the game 12 or so years ago are actually still entitled to the game as long as they can provide proof or purchase lol. Will any of you be trying out the demo? The full game comes out in about a weeks time or so.

The demo is around 1.7 GB and you'll get about 30 mins play time (if you're messing about like drawing on the board and throwing shit at the walls to keep you entertained lol).

Ive had the CD key for a while. I just couldn't DL anything. Ill get it tonight...

gotta say it looks good.. and i say its gonna be more fun due to more stuff u can do and interact with in the world... took me bout 15 - 20 to beat the demo.. not to bad considering u only have 2 levels to play and the first being somewhat of a "boss" battle..

I got bored of it pretty fast. I didn't see anything that stood out more-so then any other FPS. Graphics were nice, game played smooth.....but it was just "another game" to me.

The game was OK, it wasn't ever going to be ground breaking, it's supposed to be cheesy, funny and fun to play. I had fun playing the game. I don't play a story through more than once so I wouldn't complain about it losing playability. I do think the game could have been cheaper for people who bought it though, I never. Didn't play online so I can't comment. The overall graphics are okay, they aren't like Crysis but they still look good. Apart from the way duke jumps when you look in the mirror, it looks pretty stupid but its still funny lol.
Gearbox should have totally re-made the game though to be honest. I think they have still most likely made a profit from this and should make a new Duke Nukem starting NOW.
