Starting May 1, 2011 there will no longer be a "trial" stage of applications. Due to the decline in overall activity in Quake 3, it is too much to expect activity in game when it's hard at times to find clan members to play with. However, forum activity will be pushed to the top of the list of things we will be looking at for future clan members.

In no way does this mean that pWp will not have an active role in the Q3 community, but due to the community activity, I see it as unfair to have people sit and wait for 2 separate stages on an application that seems to be having people wait too long. The last thing I want is to waste anyones time or our own. Decisions will be made 1 month from the date you apply. The polls will be posted 5 days prior so we can have an answer at 1 month.

With that said, we have been very "relaxed" on our trials since it was still not full membership. So the decisions will be handled with more urgency when it comes to a "yes" vote. pWp has always been a place for people that felt they needed a "home", not just a Q3 clan. That will be more prevalent in our decisions then before.

Anyone declined will need to wait 1 month before restarting their desire for full membership. Those applications will last 2 weeks prior to a poll. The poll will be posted on the day of the 2 weeks and run for 7 days. If the poll is still declined, you will not be able to apply again for 6 months from the 1st application.

Also, we will not keep open any applications that the applicant has a hacking past less then 3 years. Those applications will be locked, so please don't bother posting. And please don't apply if you are inside that range. If we find out, we will not only deny the application, but use any means we can to apply a ban if felt needed.

We are all here to have fun, but what is the point if you cant trust your own family? Some people still play quake, some play other games...... but this forum is our "home". This is where you get to know us, and in turn... we get to know you.

Although it seems that in a way it is pointless to join a Q3 clan to some, and I agree in a way, I will be working on added benefits for clan members so there is incentive to be here other then the "want". Those benefits are not going to be in place just to "drive" clan member numbers, but to help show appreciation to those who are here, and stay here.

I also am working on a way to merge all the members in the clan into 1 section instead of separating them via game type. We are all in the same family, we should all be together. And anyone in the clan should have just as much of a right to vote on an application as any other member, no matter their game type. There are, however, challenges to implementing this so it may take time to figure out the best way to do it, but I am working out the kinks.

Hopefully in the next week or so I will have more info on specifics, but until then feel free to post any questions in this thread and I will answer as soon as I can.
