If Photoshop is anything like Paint Shop Pro, then there should be a baster looking thing which will allow you to get the color you need, or there's a clone brush which can do something similar.

yeah but getting the exact colour of the pWp background is the grail in this case: i don't want a guess i want EXACT. (im sure it's possible)

Adobe Photoshop CS5 has it built in which is nice but if you don't have that then kuler

at school they have cs5.. but at home i have elements 5.0 tbh i perfer elements
