Is it true? You are wondering what I am asking. Well according to W7T.net they claim IE9 is suppose to be the fastest browser out there BUT there is a catch from what I heard. You have to be running Windows 7 or later to use this new browser. It is suppose to be updated with HTML5 and CSS3. You can now use real rounded corners instead of "rounded" corners. Meaning you don't have to create graphics just to have the illusion that your box is round. Here is the link. There is also a link on that page to try the browser out.

I don't know it is suppose to be a huge upgrade but we will see.. I am using firefox don't plan on getting IE.

Opera is less compatible to some things (but upgrades are getting better).... but I have turned so many to the Opera side. It's really the most "friendly" browser there is user wise. Speed dial.... "paste and go" for URL link pastes in the address bar. Skins, completely customizable...

Yea I had to install Opera on the computer at my dad's shop because it's the only browser that his online banking supports and I have used it an bit and it is pretty cool but I still prefer Firefox overall.

For me Opera is like googlechrome++
Also, for the sites that don't work too well with opera (e.g. quakelive lol) you can make the website identify the browser as firefox or internet explorer, safari or chrome. This can be done in the options, and is website specific, e.g. you will only appear to be using firefox to the website on that website only, unless you set otherwise.

I use Safari and Firefox. Safari is fassssst, but overall firefox is a better browser (although heaps slower). I'm a big chrome fan though (all privacy concerns aside). IE just has grown this big clunky stigma with me that I would never go back to it. Opera I didn't care too much for it's speed when I tried it a couple years back, but maybe things have changed. It felt like a poor-man's firefox.
