First topic message reminder :

So I thought this would be a good debate. Although I know 70% of you are going to defend PC. There are Mac users on this forum, clip_ being one of them. I am about 50/50.

I enjoy Windows for the gaming and programs.

On the other hand I enjoy browsing, downloading and watching pornography on the net without having to worry about viruses. (little joke on the end of that one).

Also enjoy the stability of the OS as to I don't have to worry about my 4+ hour PS project crashing even though I have to agree I should be smarter and save the file frequently.

BUT on the other hand Macs cost lots more and somewhat over charge but they have their pro's and con's.

Opinions?

Chrome, Opera, Firefox.... I was a die hard Opera fan, but now i prefer chrome. Try one of those 3. Opera has a screen size slider to easily change on the fly.

I have the three of them installed. Opera is my default. Chrome second. Firefox third.

Firefox is basically ie explorer but a little different aesthetics. Safari just sucks. Opera and chrome i've never tried..

Chrome is my personal favorite, but I did like FireFox.

What? It is basically IE?

FARRRR from IE. FF has awesome ad-ons look them up. It is much more secure than IE.

I have Opera, IE, FF and Chrome but that is just because I like web development so I have to test on all of them. Chrome is an awesome browser. Only issue is they don't have firebug and the web development tool bar, at least last time I checked they didn't.

And besides, what would i know! I just use the damned things and complain about how slow they are... on the topic is chrome faster or is that just advertising?

Yeah it is. It all has to do with how the coding is set up with the browsers.

Don't believe me get chrome and speedtest.net it. You will see a bit of a difference.

Opera/Chrome are the fastest. IE 9 claims it is the fastest but I call BS.

Firefox is fast just not quite as fast as the others. BUT the add-ons and such by far blow all the other browsers out of the water. And they are working on making the browser faster.

Only problem with FF is when you add a lot of add-ons it tends to make the load time on the browser longer as if you were to open Chrome it opens almost instantly.

well i never saw the plusses of ff in comparison to ie... but then i wouldnt really. Also i couldnt get ql to work on it :/

It depends on the FF. Smokey told me on Facebook that the latest FF update didn't work too well with QL, which was what made me get Chrome.

yeah, but tbh QL doesn't always work smootly on ie either... though with the latest update (the one after the one that introduced payed subscriptions) appears to have ironed those gremlins out for me.
