What do you mean "got the server"? As in Tad gave it to them? Or Tad didn't pay and they decided to take over the IP without asking first, even if we couldn't make the payment? Because if the latter, then it was kind of a dick move from their part. All in all, what I'm saying is: why didn't Tad mention anything to the other leaders?

Okay well let me clear some things up with most of you.

I called up tad and talked to him about it.

There was an agreement a few months back with papamidnight. The deal was that papa wanted another server and tad said that he could have the pWp server since he couldn't pay it at the time. So tad arranged a deal with maverick that papa would pay 50$ for three servers, or I guess you could say a buy 2 get 1 free kind of a deal. Tad said he would let them mess around with it or whatever as long as we were allowed to scrim. So technically its owns the server but lets us keep the name and such. So they were doing pWp a favor. Now as far as the zone.noghost.net and the name its "zone" tad has to sort that out with papa because tad is the one that created "zone" and that is a pWp deal.

So that is the whole thing. Hope some of it is cleared up

That sounds like a pretty lame deal, to be honest. Tad can't pay for it, so it is arranged that instead of Tad not paying anything for it, papamidnight would take over and not pay anything for it? I don't get it.

I guess what's done is done... it is not like I play there. Heh.

Anyways, since pWp is allowed to scrim there, shouldn't some of the active members get ref?

Papa and I had an agreement that I would get him a discount with Mav on the 2 servers he wanted. In turn he would pay for zone. He would have complete access to it.... but I would still as well and be able to run it as a pwp server. His exact reasons were.... "since you can't afford zone anymore, I want to help pwp so they dont lose the server/die and Ill pay for it if you can get a deal for me with mav.". Was as simple as that.

Us losing the IP isnt that big of a deal really. I can get us another server..... but papa has my number and never let me know anything and also... they are using the name zone.... that I made? couldnt come up with anything ladies?

Ill have a new server up this week.... Although Papa did help us out a great deal, it was a trade off I was told . I keep forgetting about the not trusting internet people....

Anyway... keep the server, just dont use the name I came up with... thats pretty cheap.
