As i said at UE, im not going to give one becuase im close friends with Potcha. And my opinions would either be biased towards the community or hurtfull to Potcha. ANd considering its just a game, my friendship with him is far more important to me than quake.

I completely understand what you mean cat... to an extent. The problem is, to me.... if someone is a friend... knows the way the community "tries" to be about hackers and stopping them but yet do the same thing themselves.... well that says a lot about their character. Also posting opinions about or on a demo should have nothing to do with who's playing. It should always be an unbiasd opinion on the game play, not the person anyway.

Yes it's just a video game.... but even in a video game immature actions prove true to a persons intellect. If you need to cheat in a video game to feel important then yes, those traits do branch over to the kind of person you are......typicaly alone and looking for validation in life somewhere.

Im not saying he was hacking, I cant watch the demo on the computer im using.... but I do think everyone needs to realize that if someone hacks it is a "consious decision".... not just some simple mistake.

If someone can come up with a more polite way in asking such questions ill be more than happy to anwser, but I WILL NOT be talked down to by a kid on the internet. Especially one who is just pissed he didnt get into a clan.

Not true at all. He's doing the right thing by not being bias in favor of potcha not hacking. He would obviously defend his friend...as anybody else would too.

well considering this is a q3 forum there should be other occasions to defend him as a friend...

When i was givin the demos from Pixel, i downloaded them, and then handed them off to other refs... At no point did i consider hideing them. I did my job fairly. There are other refs in this community, and I made sure that they had access to the information. And I will respect and enforce their disicions. Thats the extent of my envolvement, and I believe that to be fair to all.
