Chris Henry's autopsy reveals he died from blunt-force trauma to the head, the Mecklenburg Medical Examiner said Friday.

A funeral service for the Cincinnati Bengals' wide receiver, a native of Belle Chasse, La., is tentatively planned for Thursday, The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Henry’s team will reportedly attend the funeral service in La. following their game against the Chargers in San Diego on Sunday.

Henry, 26, sustained the fatal head injury Wednesday after an argument with his fiancée, Loleini Tonga. He fell onto the road near the Tonga family home after jumping onto the back of a pick-up truck Tonga was driving.

Witnesses say that Tonga, 25, was fleeing after a dispute with Henry, despite him imploring her to stay.

Rosalyn Harrington, a Charlotte-Mecklenburg police spokeswoman, told the Enquirer that Tonga stopped the car when Henry fell off the back.

"She pulled the vehicle over to get out and assist," she said.

Henry's death was announced at 6:36 a.m. on Thursday at a North Carolina hospital. Plastic flowers and good wishes now adorn the curvy stretch of road where he fell.

The trouble sports star was set to wed Tonga in March, but TMZ recently reported that he was "aggravated" with his wedding plans, which may have contributed to Wednesday's fight with his fiancée.

Homicide detectives are currently investigating the case and no charges have been filed against Tonga though police have not yet cleared her name.

Neither the Tongas nor the Henrys have spoken with the media since his passing.

Henry has a volatile past and was cut from the Bengals in April 2008 after getting arrested five times in 28 months. He was arrested on charges of drug possession, assault and drunken driving and was suspended several times for violating the NFL's conduct policy. The Bengals decided to give him another chance before the 2008 season started.

Yet they chose that clip of all clips to feature during their tribute. Sorry, that bothered the hell out of me when I saw that on Sportscenter.

Was a shame to see the Bengals not pull it out this weekend in his memory, but they gave it one hell of a try.
