Honestly I think you a very narrow minded being. If you want take everyones requests, be my guest.
It is called labor, I am not gonna sit here making everyone in quake a signature wasting my time for free.
For an example someone does tile for a living and you tell them it is retarded that they charge to lay tile. It takes time I have better things to do than sit at the computer 24/7 making signatures for people so they can post it on a pointless forum hence why I charge people. It stops people from asking me all the time and then if someone really does want one and is willing to pay I get money. So there for you are the one that thinks very narrow mind.

I said in my own opinion i forgot when people with opinions were narrow minded?
Second of all as you said so they could put it on pointless forums so youd make it for no reason except for the fact of matierlistic items do you not have friends that youd gladly make sigs for cause thats the only people i make them for.
why not use your talent s to make someone happy for the slightest moment?

No I would not consider people in quake my friends. I have not met anyone of you in person and don't plan it.
Also does making someone happy pay the bills? No it does not, that is life bro. You don't like it well to bad because that is the way life works. I like how you tell me it is your opinion well what I write is my opinion too so I don't know where down the line you come off and say hey my opinion is the only thing that matters.
Also go to a graphic designer and tell them hey will you make me this signature to make me happy for the slightest moment, you know what they are going to say to you? Find someone else to do your work for free.
Now on another point you said they "were not that special" I can accept the fact they may not be the best in your eyes but maybe some other people's eyes they are. Everyone has there own opinion just like if you say some girl is hot and then another person disagrees. It is in the eyes of the beholder. Another thing is you said that they "were not special" but yet you quote "why not use your
talents to make someone happy for the slightest moment?" Well I don't know what talent you are referring to after you said they are nothing special.

I never claimed I was professional. Although I do believe I have some skill at photo shop. Maybe not a pro at making signatures but website design and stuff like that most definitely. Also I enjoy doing it just don't enjoy the fact that I have about 5 people a day asking me for one. It takes time to make and once you make them people will use them for about 2-3 weeks then come back bugging for another one because they got bored with the first one, so to eliminate me spending my time making a signature that only will be used for a few weeks I charge so people don't take me for granted.
Edit: I would like to point out that isn't constructive criticism. You basically chopped me down and said my shit was weak and it should be for free. It had nothing to do with the design.

Well people do it for a living. They do charge people.
Also everyone is missing the point of me charging. Obviously you don't get as many requests as I do. I am not lying when I said I would get 5 a day some times more. That is not being sarcastic I am being dead serious. Another thing you are a child, I am an adult. I have to pay bills, you don't hence why I don't have the time to sit on the computer all day making signatures for people.
By the way you make sound as if "Pixel art" is easy. Really it takes talent and skill to achieve certain affects. A person can't sit on the computer and just all of a sudden know how to make things.
